We are currently without a pastor.  Pray for us as we search for the man God would have us call as pastor.

Ken & Barb Reich teamed with FBC Alva in January of 2009 along with 30+ years of leadership experience.  They formerly served in Oklahoma at FBC Maud, FBC Chandler, FBC Cyril, FBC Watonga and FBC Sayre.  They also served at the Olivia Baptist Church in Dalton, GA.

They have 3 grown children: oldest daughter and her husband - Britney and Chris Gilbert - live in Moore, OK; son - Kyle, his wife Courtney and their 2 sons, Jameson & Anderson - live in Rochester, NY; and youngest daughter - Kelly - lives in Mustang, OK.

Derrick Thomas is Minister of Youth at First Baptist Church, directing the full-range of youth minitries and activities. As the youth leader he is the primary teacher for youth on Sunday and Wednesday evenings as well as planning youth events with the youth committee.

Derrick graduated from NWOSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Sports Science Education in May of 2008. He was married to Chesnei June 14, 2008. 

Betty Bevis has been the secretary at FBC since 2007.  Betty is married to Gary Bevis.  Betty and Gary have two adult sons.
