Bro. Greg and his wife Sara celebrated their 31th anniversary this year. Returning to Oklahoma in 2000 to pastor First Baptist Church, they hoped to be closer to family. Since that time their three children have moved out on their own.

Greg has pastored churches in Alabama and  Kentucky before returning home to Oklahoma. He completed is Master of Divinity while in Kentucky and Doctor of Ministry while in Alabama.

Prior to entering pastoral ministry, Greg worked for Oil & Gas pipeline companies in Texas and West Virginia. He had already completed his MBA in finance and earned certification as a CPA while in industry.

Ken & Barb Reich teamed with FBC Alva in January of 2009.  They have 30+ years of leadership experience.  They formerly served in Oklahoma at FBC Maud, FBC Chandler, FBC Cyril, FBC Watonga and FBC Sayre.  They also served at the Olivia Baptist Church in Dalton, GA.

They have 3 grown children: oldest daughter and her husband - Britney and Chris Gilbert - live in Moore, OK; son - Kyle and his wife Courtney - live in Rochester, NY; and youngest daughter - Kelly - lives in Edmond, OK.

Derrick Thomas - Youth Minister

Derrick Thomas is Minister of Youth at First Baptist Church, directing the full-range of youth minitries and activities. As the youth leader he is the primary teacher for youth on Sunday and Wednesday evenings as well as planning youth events with the youth committee.

Derrick graduated from NWOSU with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Sports Science Education in May of 2008. He was married to Chesnei June 14, 2008. 

Michelle Chapman  keeps everything in balance as the church's treasurer. She prepares payroll and prepares a monthly financial statement for the church. As treasurer, she serves as an ex-officio member of the Stewardship Committee.

Betty Bevis has been the secretary at FBC since 2007.  Betty is married to Gary Bevis.  Betty and Gary have two adult sons.
