Ken & Barb came to FBC Alva in January of 2009 with 30+ years of ministry experience. They are both accomplished instrumentalist and wonderful vocalist. But most importantly they have a heart for worship.
Music Ministry at FBC Alva includes an Adult Choir & Worship Band which help lead our Sunday Morning worship service along with soloists, groups and several handbell choirs: children, beginners, and experienced.
A number of other gifted accompanist are involved in the music ministry in additon to audio and video technicians.
Charla Parker, our former music minister, continues to accompany the Men's Quartet. The Men's Quartet sings and performs Gospel Music regularly in worship and are available for entertaining and worship opportunities in the community.

- Children's Handbells - (moved to be part of Children's Music Wednesday's at 5:45 pm)

Adult Choir
We have just started back with choir practice on Wednesday nights. This would be a great time for you to begin singing in the choir or to get back in the groove of singing with the choir. We would love to have you be a part of the worship leadership team. Come sing with us!!
Worship Band
*** I am looking for a TRAP set player for the band. If you play trap or know someone who does, get in touch with me.
Whether you are young or old, experienced or just past the beginner stage, we would love to have you join us in the Worship Band. The music is not difficult and only requires about 30-40 minutes of your time for rehearsal on Wednesday nights at 7:30.
